5DEWA Signs Landmark Deal with Dubai Digital Authority to Advance Smart City Vision
Partnership to drive AI, IoT, and big data integration into city services
Dubai, UAE – July 27, 2025 – In a major milestone for Dubai’s Smart City vision, 5DEWA has entered a strategic partnership with the Dubai Digital Authority (DDA) to co-develop intelligent platforms that will redefine urban life across the emirate. The collaboration includes joint work on AI-based traffic systems, IoT-enabled infrastructure, and blockchain-based government services.
The multi-phase initiative will begin with the digitization of three key public services: smart waste management, predictive traffic systems, and public energy optimization.
