Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 – The Rule has set the box office ablaze

Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 – The Rule has set the box office ablaze, smashing records with unprecedented collections. The film has already dethroned Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan as the highest-grossing Hindi film in its first week, and is now waiting to break an 8 year old record.

The Sukumar-directed blockbuster has amassed Rs 498 crore from its Hindi version alone, while its total collection at the end of the 10th day was Rs 824.5 crore. With its continued dominance, Pushpa 2 is now poised to break the long-standing Hindi box office record held by Prabhas and SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion, which collected Rs 511 crore and was the first film from South India to cross the Rs 500 crore mark in Hindi.

The movie has earned ₹1141.35 crore in India (Net) and worldwide collection stands at ₹1597 core so far, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. However, according to Pushpa 2 makers, the movie has already surpassed ₹1700 crore worldwide on Day 22. While the final earning data may be confirmed after some time, the key question remains: will the movie dethrone Baahubali 2 to become the second-world grosser?

Allu Arjun-starrer ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ has outcompeted S.S. Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ at the global box office, becoming the second-highest-grossing Indian movie of all time.

Pushpa 2 is inches away from entering the 1800 crore club, with its current earnings at Rs 1,799 crore across the world at the end of Day 29.

The domestic net collection of the movie is Rs 1,189.85 crore. It had a significant collection in its opening week when it minted 725.8 crore followed by Rs Rs 264.8 crore nett in its second week. The movie continued to dominate, collecting Rs 128.6 crore net in the third week as well.
