Some might say that travelling to London in January is a bold choice… freezing temperatures, unpredictable rain and shorter days. But for Aditya Seal, it was the perfect time. With no overwhelming tourist crowds, the city’s charm was wrapped in winter’s crisp embrace. Armed with layers (and a stubborn sense of adventure), Aditya, his wife Anushka Ranjan and his mother, Manju Seal, braved the cold to experience London in a more intimate and cosy way. This trip wasn’t just about sightseeing; it was about creating memories and introducing his mother to the city’s history, food and culture. They indulged in impromptu shopping at Camden Market and navigated the local pub scene. From iconic landmarks to spontaneous moments, every day brought something new. And despite the occasional rain throwing their plans into disarray, London never failed to impress the Seal family.

Filmmaker Mudassar Aziz’s Khel Khel Mein, featuring Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, and others, was released on August 15 this year. The movie clashed with Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2 and John Abraham’s Vedaa at the box office. While Stree 2 emerged as a blockbuster, Khel Khel Mein underperformed at the box office. Now, in an interview with Hindustan Times, Aditya Seal has opened up about the BO debacle of his movie.

Their first meeting, however, was anything but smooth. Aditya recalls it as an “awkward” encounter. “I was walking for a fashion show for her NGO and during my costume trials, I wasn’t exactly comfortable in what I was wearing. So, when she asked me, ‘Is it good?’ I just said, ‘If it’s good for you, it’s good for me’. I didn’t want to chat much because I thought she was way too cool for me. Meanwhile, she thought I was throwing attitude her way!”
