The film’s opening title remains one of the most memorable I’ve ever seen. It begins with a small frame that gradually expands, leading into the iconic song “Har Karam Apna Karenge”. The song plays against the breathtaking backdrop of Kashmir’s mountains, which subtly shift in tone with each line, creating an unforgettable cinematic experience.

In Atlee’s Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan plays a jailer who makes it his mission to empower the female inmates, and also train them to fight against the corruption ailing the country. It’s not a new plot.

What started as a dream project for Anurag Basu and Ranbir Kapoor turned into a logistical nightmare. Jagga Jasoos was plagued with repeated delays, budget issues, and reshoots. Adding to the mess, the lead actors—Ranbir and Katrina—broke up midway through filming, making things even more awkward. The film was in production for over three years and by the time it released, it failed to meet sky-high expectations.

Like many actors in the Hindi film industry, Anupam Kher was a devoted fan of the legendary actor Dilip Kumar. In a recent interview, he fondly recalled his experience of working with the Mughal-E-Azam star for the first time in the 1986 film Karma. Anupam, who portrayed the antagonist in the film, remembered being so awestruck upon seeing Dilip Kumar on set that he couldn’t help but stare. His admiration was so evident that director Subhash Ghai had to remind him to act like a villain, not like someone infatuated with Dilip Kumar.
